Adam Williams, MS, LPC, NCC

Adam is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and families, since 2003.  He obtained his Masters in Science in College and Community Counseling from Longwood University.  He is a National Certified Counselor and member of the Association for Play Therapy.  Adam has provided a range of community-based services for children, including working at Child Savers, in Richmond, as well as a Community Services Board outside of Roanoke.

Using a child-centered approach, Adam offers a wide range of therapy modalities, with special focus on tailoring treatment to each individual family's needs and desired outcome.  Creative expression is a focus of most sessions.  Adam has helped children and adolescents who are struggling with a wide range of symptoms including: ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental difficulties, autism spectrum challenges, depression, anxiety, or substance use issues. Many of Adam's clients have been struggling with adjusting to a life change, such as grief/loss, or a change in family dynamics.
