Barbara Creeden, MA, BCC

Focusing on individuals from the teen years through adulthood, Barbara partners with clients to help them be authentic, find balance, and live mindfully.  Her areas of concentration include personal growth, professional development, relationship issues, and life and career transitions.  She specializes in working with women and teen girls.

Barbara's approach is collaborative and solution-focused, with the goal of providing holistic support and practical feedback.  She integrates an eclectic mix of counseling techniques into a personalized program tailored to empower clients to build on their strengths and attain their goals.

Barbara received her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University in Massachusetts.  Before relocating to Virginia, she was a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in North Carolina, where she was in private practice.  She currently is a Resident in Counseling, working under supervision toward full licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She also is a Board Certified Coach. Before transitioning into counseling, Barbara spent more than 20 years in executive positions in the nonprofit community and higher education.
