Deb Early, LPC

Practitioner Name Deb Early is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor offering individual, family, group and couples therapy through her private practice in Charlottesville, Virginia. She offers comprehensive, cognitive behavioral, and emotion-focused treatment involving couples/relationships, grief and recovery, separation and divorce, post traumatic stress, parenting issues, depression, codependency, and anxiety. Her counseling passion resides in the area of couples and relationship work.

Deb has been involved in the counseling field since 1989. While living in Alexandria,Virginia, she worked in the fields of addictions, school counseling, worked as a therapist for the Department of Defense, and started a private practice. In 2012, Deb and her family moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where she began working as a therapist with the Faculty Employee Assistance Program (FEAP) at the University of Virginia. Deb retired from her UVA work in 2022 and has begun her part-time private practice here in Charlottesville.

Deb received her Bachelors of Science from James Madison University in 1985 and her Masters of Science Degree in Counseling from Western Maryland University in 1991. She has also completed graduate work from Gallaudet University, University of Memphis, George Washington University, and Catholic University.
